GOVERNING BODY MEETING

On 07.08.2009, The Governing Body of KTMC, KIAS, KIP, KCE, KKIT and KIPG meet at Hotel Hampshire Plaza, Hyderabad and discuss various issues and reviewed the progress of the institution.

The Highlight is the Body approved to implement the latest enhancement of D.A. sanctioned by the State Govt. to the teaching faculty of the colleges under management. Sarvasri K. L. Narasimham (Chairman), Dr. C. V. Dharma Rao, Dr. Ch. Seetharamaiah, M. Venkat Reddy, (Members representing the society) U.V.S.N. Murthy, (Representing State Govt.), Dr. P. Sravana,(Repsenting J.N.T.U.) (K. Tulasinath, (Secretary & Correspondent), Dr. K. Nayanathara, (Principal KTMC), K. Raghu Ram, (Principal i/c KOTM), S.M. Satish, (Principal i/c KIPH). Attended the meeting.

INAUGURATION OF TECHNICAL FORM

The Technical Forum of KTMC (CSE & IT) was inaugurated on 26.07.2008. Sri. P.Vijay Kumar, Senior Software Engineer, ACCENTURE Technologies Hyderabad was the Chief Guest. While explaining the opportunities for .net he dealt at length the future aware companies and employability of future graduates.

EXPERT LECTURE

A 3-day National level Teacher's Training Programme was Organized by KTMC by NITTTR for the faculties of various engineering colleges on July 4-6,2009.

JOB FAIR

Campus Placement Fair – 2008 was conducted on 18th March 2008 at Kottam Institute of Advanced Studies.: Future Point Technologies Ltd., Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance, HDFC Standard Life Insurance, IDBI Bank, Eureka Forbes, MSA Motors, Automotive Manufacturers ltd., Cipla, Basix, Cannon, Nipun net solutions, Evolgence, Kotak Securities and Sun Informatics have visited for their staff recruitment. These companies have selected around 200 students out of 300 candidates who came from four districts of Rayalaseema, Mahabubnagar and Hyderabad. Five outgoing 2008 batch MBA students got Placement offer by Kotak Securities Ltd with a starting pay of 1.2 lakh per annum and 30 students have been short listed.
